Minecraft News [10.10.11] 2
There has been quite a bit going in Minecraft lately! Notch has been all over the place trying to get ready for MineCon and the official release of Minecraft.
Notch has been working on new mobs, one of which is his precious dragon, which looks awesome!
And don’t forget the babies! Animal breeding is one of the big things that is coming with 1.9, so of course that means adorable animal babies! ….with really big heads…

In other news, 1.9 just had it third pre-release. And now they are suggesting they will just keep doing pre-releases until MineCon.
Here’s a quote directly from Notch: “Me and Jens have only two more major features we want to implement before the release in November. The plan it to stop all new development on October 18, and resume them again after the release on November 18. That will give us one month to focus on just fixing bugs, cleaning up the code, and optimizing the performance to make sure the release will be as good as possible.”

Can’t wait for the iPad edition :-p
Otherwise those changes are sweet. Can’t wait to try it out if I ever get some free time.

Pocket edition is pretty sweet, just hoping they get some kind of survival mode implemented.
